About Elizabeth
If you’re looking for someone who can connect with your child and help them work through what they’re dealing with, Elizabeth is a great fit. She’s a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-Associate) who works with children, adolescents, and young adults. She helps kids and teens navigate anxiety, trouble managing big emotions, self-esteem struggles, life transitions, behavioral challenges, and relationship issues. Elizabeth believes every child and teen has real strengths, and that growth happens when they’re given a space where they feel supported and encouraged instead of judged.
Her Focus & Approach
Elizabeth’s approach is collaborative and strengths-based, grounded in Adlerian principles. That means she’s not focused on what’s “wrong” with your child — she’s focused on what’s already working and how to build on it. She’s a trained play therapist currently working toward her credential as a Registered Play Therapist (RPT), so she brings a strong foundation in using play to help kids process and communicate in ways that feel natural to them. Depending on your child’s age and what they’re working through, Elizabeth uses play-based techniques alongside traditional talk therapy, so younger kids can process things in a way that makes sense to them and teens have room for more direct conversation. Her goal is to help your child build real coping skills, grow their confidence, and make progress you’ll actually notice at home.
Elizabeth is committed to creating a warm, welcoming space where your child feels heard and understood — because kids do their best work in therapy when they feel safe first.
Outside the Office
When she’s not in the therapy room, Elizabeth enjoys spending quality time with her fiancée, spoiling her two cats and dog, relaxing in a hammock, or binge-watching reality TV. She’s always up for trying a new restaurant, making memories with family and friends, and, if Taylor Swift is involved, there’s a good chance she’s singing along. Elizabeth believes self-care looks different for everyone and values meaningful connection, balance, and finding joy in the little moments.
