Andrew L Logue is a counseling student Intern who received his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Sam Houston State University and is working on finishing his Masters in counseling at Walden University, with a focus on military members, veterans, and their families. Andrew has gained experience by having served in the Navy for 8 years. After serving in the military he worked with children on the spectrum and with other intellectual and developmental disabilities as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) for 7 of the last 8 years. The children he worked with ranged in ages from 5-18.
Andrew enjoys working with adolescents, adults, military members, veterans, and members of their families, as well as first responders.
He is passionate about helping people to help themselves and to find the direction that they want to go. He does this using a variety of approaches such as Solution focused, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Andrew tailors the therapy to each client’s needs so that they can get the most out of their counseling experience.
When not at work, you will find Andrew spending time with his wife, kids, family and friends. In his free time, Andrew enjoys reading and playing table top RPG’s (like Pathfinder or Dungeons and Dragons).
