Aimeé Castillo, M.Ed., is a bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor who is passionate about supporting individuals, couples, and families. She firmly believes that people have the capacity and unique strengths within themselves for healing and growth. Aimeé collaborates with her clients to help them recognize and cultivate these strengths, empowering them to move forward with confidence and purpose. Having raised two daughters, Aimeé has a particular passion for assisting older teenagers, individuals, and families through life’s challenges, offering a caring presence to those feeling overwhelmed.

Aimeé’s therapeutic approach is rooted in compassion and non-judgement. She offers individualized treatment plans to help clients realize their full potential. Drawing from her expertise in helping individuals develop emotional resilience and healthy coping skills, she tailors her interventions to honor the unique backgrounds of each individual. Aimeé’s therapeutic style is goal-oriented and culturally attuned, characterized by heartfelt empathy and genuine kindness. Her priority is to create a safe space for clients to share any concerns.

She specializes in supporting clients struggling with anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder, helping them develop compassionate self-awareness and healing.

Outside of her work, Aimeé enjoys spending time with her family, reading, going for walks, antiquing, and indulging in ballroom and swing dancing.

– Providing Basic Dialectical Behavior Therapy with Treatment Integrity-Four Day Intensive, Cognitive Behavior Institute: Dialectical Behavior Therapy teaches people to accept their thoughts and feelings and how to change those thoughts and feelings to change behavior.  It is based on Cognitive Behavioral therapy but focuses more on the emotional and social aspects of life.  It works well with people struggling with interpersonal relationships. 

– EMDR Therapist Training–50 Hours, Compassion Works: EMDR is a type of therapy that uses eye movements and bilateral stimulation to help individuals heal from trauma and other distressing events.
